Built for life; with no chipboard, MDF, or veneers used anywhere, only 100% hardwood (Mango) you can relax knowing that this product not only looks good but will last you for many years to come
Free from nails; manufactured with tenon joinery; therefore, no nails are used – so no nail marks
Floating grooves; manufactured with floating grooves allowing for the seasonal expansion of wood while preventing expansion-related distortions and increasing the life of the product
Steel Channels; all drawers are fitted with “Hafele” channels for smooth functioning, these have been tested & certified for a minimum of 30,000 cycles, with small draws having a load-bearing capacity of 30Kgs while the bigger ones of 40Kgs
Hinges & Knobs; these are either brass or stainless steel to enhance the quality, utility, and longevity of the products
Wood; all raw wood is ethically & sustainably sourced with FSC Certification
Manufacturing; each component & assembly is made by state-of-the-art hand-operated machinery making this a truly handmade piece of furniture
Surface Finishes:
Canterbury Range: finished with an initial coat of transparent natural stain, two coats of sealer to seal the surface and maintain the original wood effect during the entire product lifespan & a final layer of lacquer
Belvoir Range: finished with an initial coat of grey stain, two coats of sealer to seal the surface and maintain the original wood effect during the entire product lifespan & a final layer of lacquer
Rug & Textile
Manufacturing: all our products are handmade by trained artisans employing the traditional methods of sustainable manufacturing
Materials: It’s our effort to use the most sustainable and environmentally friendly materials, therefore we use, wool, jute, cotton, viscose, PET
We Repurpose Plastic
Yarn is made from recycled plastic bottles, giving a softer-than-wool feel with the added benefit of keeping single-use bottles out of landfills as well as streams and rivers
Throw: almost 600 bottles are used to make a throw
Cushion: almost 300 bottles are used to make a cushion
Rug: almost 3000 bottles are used to make a rug
